EW Live 2025 in Estonia

EW Live 2025 in Estonia

Electronic Warfare Live 2025, organised by Tangent Link in cooperation with the Estonian Ministry of Defence and the Estonian Defence Forces, was held at Ülenurme Airport in Tartu, Estonia, from 23–26 September 2025. EW Live is more than a traditional trade show – it combines live demonstrations, panel discussions, static displays and classroom-style briefings, all dedicated to Electromagnetic Warfare (EW/EME/CEMA).

Over the years, EW Live has become one of Europe’s premier, “must-attend” events for the EW community, bringing together leading industry players and NATO/allied delegations to observe and evaluate cutting-edge EW technologies in a live environment rather than at static booths.

At EW Live 2025, JISR Institute showcased its C4EW system – a C2/C4 solution for Electromagnetic Warfare operations. C4EW provides commanders and staff with tools to plan, task, command and assess the full spectrum of EW missions, from Electronic Support and ELINT activities to Electronic Attack, deception operations and protective measures in the electromagnetic spectrum. Designed as a sensor- and effector-agnostic platform, C4EW integrates ground-based, airborne and other EW assets into a single operational picture and decision-support environment.

A key highlight of our participation was the demonstration of CESMO (Cooperative Electromagnetic Support Measure Operations) capability within the C4EW environment. CESMO is a NATO-standardised, IP-based framework that enables multiple EW platforms to share ESM data, detect and geolocate emitters in near real time and significantly enhance coalition situational awareness and responsiveness.

By implementing CESMO, C4EW can be tightly integrated into multinational mission networks and combined with other tactical data links such as Link 16 via JREAP – an approach JISR Institute has been demonstrating in various NATO-related exercises and events.

Participation in EW Live 2025 underlines JISR Institute’s long-term commitment to Electromagnetic Warfare and NATO interoperability. Presenting C4EW in a live, operationally-oriented setting is an important step in further developing our C2 capabilities for EW and in supporting coalition forces with robust, standards-based solutions for managing complex operations in the electromagnetic environment.
