NATO CWIX 2026

NATO CWIX 2026

In June 2026, JISR Institute participated alongside the Czech Armed Forces in NATO CWIX 2026, held in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The exercise focuses on testing the digital and communications interoperability of information systems used by NATO Allies and Partner nations.

The main objective of the joint testing was to assess the international interoperability of JISR Institute solutions developed to support the intelligence cycle and electromagnetic warfare operations. The tests focused primarily on the ability of the systems to operate, communicate and exchange information effectively within a multinational operational environment.

During the exercise, information exchange using NATO standards, including CSD, CESMO, NVG and FFT, was tested and evaluated. The practical trials confirmed the correct implementation of the relevant capabilities within JISR Institute software tools and demonstrated their compatibility with systems operated by other participating nations and NATO.

The testing activities also included the verification of Federated Mission Networking (FMN) instructions for electromagnetic warfare. The results provided valuable feedback for the continued development and improvement of the tested solutions.

The successful participation in NATO CWIX 2026 confirmed the ability of JISR Institute technologies to support information exchange and coordination between national and NATO systems. Interoperability remains one of the key requirements for the effective deployment of modern information and command-and-control systems during joint operations.

We would like to thank the Czech Armed Forces, the exercise organizers and all participating partners for their professional cooperation throughout the testing activities.
