CWIX 2025 – Coalition Warrior Interoperability eXercise
JISR Institute at CWIX 2025: Advancing ISR/EW Interoperability with CESMO
JISR Institute proudly participated in CWIX 2025, NATO’s largest digital interoperability exercise, held from 2 to 20 June 2025 at the Joint Force Training Centre in Bydgoszcz, Poland. CWIX25 brought together over 3,000 technicians, operators, and engineers from 40 nations to test 573 capabilities, conducting more than 25,000 tests across 18 focus areas and all five operational domains.
At the core of our participation was CESMO, integrated into the INTEL & ISR Electromagnetic Warfare framework by:
- Tasking CESMO via AEDP-19
- Publishing CESMO data streams to CSD via AEDP-18
- Publishing CESMO products (C‑EOB) into CSD via AEDP-17
This enabled smooth interoperability and validated our system’s ability to support NATO’s multi-domain operations goals securely and reliably.
CWIX25 also spotlighted innovation, featuring the first Innovation Sandbox—a space for early-stage technologies supported by the Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA)—and highlighted the growing role of AI in interoperability and situational awareness.
Through our engagement, JISR Institute reinforced its mission: delivering interoperable ISR/EW solutions aligned with NATO standards, ready for future operational challenges.
