Electronic Warfare and ISR working group
During May, a new section was established within the AOBP ČR (DSIA CR) (Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic) - the Electronic Warfare and ISR WG (SEBISR), JISR Institute became a founding and leading member of this section. This group should respond to the growing importance in the overall defence within the Army of the Czech Republic, NATO and the EU, but also monitor the means of modern combat. The newly established section should engage in the following issues, for example: Coordinated negotiations with the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, where the directions of development of cooperation will be addressed in accordance with the required capabilities of the Army of the Czech Republic and other state institutions to build EW and ISR as strategic capabilities to support military operations. The other purpose of this section is to increase the competitiveness of Czech companies in NATO and EU defence projects by promoting and the real support of a comprehensive concept of EW and ISR. Also support for the deployment of EW and ISR as a domain and ambition of the Czech Republic in the international context, as part of a probable future operational scenario, and as a contribution of the Czech Republic to common strategies in alliances.
The section under the leadership of the JISR Institute aims to develop the cooperation of its members not only with institutions within the Czech Republic, NATO, EU, but also with others, so as to make a significant contribution to the implementation of basic standards and principles on which EW and ISR processes are based.
